17 young migrants who were trapped in Telengana (Adibatla) in a L&T construction site are finally rescued by District Labour Officer of Telengana by a constant engagement with them by a local NGO network comprising YUGANTAAR, Action Aid and others. It is a great feeling for DSS, because DSS initiated the issue by doing a field survey and government contact in Odisha and requesting YUGANTAAR to intervene with all field level data and complain. The migrants have got their pending wage (for last one month), fooding allowance and travelling cost to their villages in Odisha.
